·        Project Lead for our suite of web applications. Involved making sure project schedule was feasible, that dead-lines were being met, all issues were handled and solved, and group was functioning as a team.

·        One of the key programmers for our commercial web services. Designed, developed, and enhanced the Gift Giving services that our wish.com and co-branded sites offer. Required experience in Java (including beans and servlets), JSP, and Oracle database.
·        Developed many internal Web-based Java and CGI applications for maintenance and reporting statistics. These included: a web-interface tool for our marketing department to select products for display on our gift idea pages, a utility to check for bad pages on any given web site, a utility to graph the flow of links between web pages, a bug tracking tool for our QA department.

·        Developed and executed QA utilities for testing the company’s complete line of products. Included writing test suites and verifying fixed bugs with regression testing. Worked directly with customers and tech support engineers to solve problems.
·        Instructed a 4-hour, 30-40 participant training course held 6 times a year across the country for our main Unix & Windows 98/NT end user products used by system administrators. Attended the Dale Carnie Course to perfect public speaking skills.

·        In order to for the Peace Institute’s students to have an outside-of-class way to practice English, build relationships with the foreign teachers and learn Western games, I dedicated two Sunday’s a night to opening my house to 15-20 Chinese.  Games consisted of small groups games, such as Uno, to large group games, such as Mimic in which contestants had to act out stories written in English.
